Service Allergie Suisse a Swiss company based in Bern, is an independent certification body for the Allergy Seal of Quality. We certify and award the standard Allergy Seal of Quality for consumer goods and services that are manufactured for and sold to people with allergies and intolerances.   

The Allergy Seal of Quality is an internationally recognised and protected trademark for special products and services that are suitable for people with allergies and intolerances. The Allergy Seal of Quality is owned by Service Allergie Suisse.

Thanks to the Allergy Seal of Quality, people suffering from allergies or intolerances can identify a product that is suitable for them at a glance. The Allergy Seal of Quality guarantees that the manufacturing process of the product has been independently controlled.

The Allergy Seal of Quality confirms the claims on the packaging (e.g. ‘without milk’, ‘gluten-free’, ‘lactose-free’), means it confirms which allergens are not contained in the corresponding product. It refers exclusively to allergies and intolerances.

The products and services undergo a strict certification process. Once certified, the products and services are subject to regular checks by auditors as well as by Service Allergie Suisse. In addition, quality controls can be carried out in the companies at any time and without prior notification.
